Last weekend, after serving up about a million Devonshire Teas, Hannah and I ducked into Aldi for a quick look. I rarely get to Aldi any more, but I love their Christmas treats, and the way I can get out door furniture, a large screen tv, and the groceries all in the one shop. Add to the fact that there is always a bit of a lucky dip factor going on, and it is one of my favourite shops.
We wandered the aisle whilst I weighed up whether to buy an additional Bob the Builder DVD (yes), or whether we had a flotation vest for Toby (we do). We perked up when we saw our favourite Christmas biscuits were back in stock, and I impulse bought a set of 25 Christmas Cookie cutters. When I saw them I immediately thought of a craft I had seen on the Internet (probably Pinterest).
We headed home tired but happy with our little haul, and I started planning my Christmas crafts for the year.
Country Boy has been making smirking remarks about how ‘amaaaazing’ my craft is, and how it will ‘go viral’ on Pinterest. I’ve threatened to hot glue his mouth shut.
Got any other great ideas for simple Christmas Crafts? Do you have to put up with a husband who doesn’t understand your creative genius? Do you love Aldi as much as me?
