One of the best bits about blogging is that you get to know and meet all sorts of clever and creative people who you might never otherwise run into in the course of your life. Tucked away on our farm, there is not much chance to meet farmers and farmers wives from all over. People whose lives are both so different and so similar to our own. Emma from She Sows Seeds is one such friend. We had been commenting on each others blog and social media for several years, and then last year we finally got to meet properly at the Kidspot Voices Of 2015 launch in Melbourne. We met up again at the Problogger conference in August. It was amazing to have a friend among the hundreds of strangers at a big conference. Since then we have messaged bloggy questions, and crochet ideas backwards and forwards. So when she mentioned that she was thinking about putting together a digital magazine all about country living, I was so excited to see what she was planning.
Fast forward a few months, and look at what she has produced! blossom+sprout is definitely a labor of love. It’s full of gorgeous pictures and stories, as well as recipes and tutorials, show casing the very best of country life. I knew she was planning to launch this week, and you can bet I bought my copy as soon as it went live on Tuesday. I’ve read it all (several times) and loved it. You can get your own copy here.
Have you got clever and creative friends?
