My goodness, it’s been cold here lately. Tucked up nice and warm in our farmhouse we have managed to avoid most of the chill, but it is still there when we venture outside. On Sunday morning we woke (not very early – it was still school holidays) to find the ground and trees completely white. Jack Frost had waved his wand and even the tree branches were frosted up. CB is much better at going out into the cold than I am, so he grabbed the camera and ventured out to see what he could find.
Little icicles of frost even covered the spider’s webs. Despite the sun weakly peeping over the horizon, the frost showed no inclination to melt. Once he snapped a few photographs, CB hurried back inside to join us in the warmth.
There really is nothing better than being warm and snug in our farmhouse on a cold winters morning!
Winter is my favorite season. Your pictures are gorgeous!
Looks like hubby has an artistic eye….great pics…we had a really low fog this morning in Brisbane which my daughter and I went out and took photos in. Love the frosty pics. Must be so nice to be back on the farm. Renovations….great once they are finished and challenging in the middle.
I am so glad to be back home!
Beautiful! The warm fire here is getting me through I tell you! Thankfully and finally some rain here last night and today. I don’t think my poor succulents in the pots could cope with anymore frosts.
