Well that was Easter, and it was lovely. A new chook shed was (almost) put up. Chairs were painted. Photos were taken. Kids ran free. Motorbikes were ridden in the late afternoons, and in the case of my sister and myself, more photos were taken.
The fire was going, and the morning and late afternoon air was chilly. Just right for wearing coats and beanies.
Eggs were hunted (and devoured). Cubbies were made. Hot cross buns made an appearance or two. About a million biscuits and bits of fruit were doled out to ravenous children.
In the evenings, my sister and I helped each other out with photography and blog design bits and pieces. I can’t wait to show you all what we have been up to a little later this week!
A weekend spent with some of our favourite people. Life doesn’t get much better does it?
What did you get up to over the Easter weekend?
Nice pics. It was a bit chilly here too but we managed a local footy match, a visit from my brother and a nice Sunday lunch with Cams dam. I think I have eaten my pregnancy weight in chocolate and loving it….Still join. Looking fwd to seeing the 'new' blog.
Looks like a gorgeously perfect Easter weekend, similar to ours – kids, motorbikes, eggs, beanies and hot cross buns.
Love the dog. What's a ride on the motorbike with Dad without the dog?!
Absolutely! When the kids were smaller we could fit the whole family and a dog on the bike!
What a lovely weekend, especially nice that you had your sister down!
Jo, your photos are beautiful, what camera do you use?
….and those piglets!
I've been thinking of you a lot lately, I remember in earlier posts you said you were a teacher. Well, I'm in the middle of my dipEd, and a move to the country is an option!?!?! I always wonder how you juggled the switch! xx
Hi Olivia, It was THE best weekend. My camera is a Canon Eos 7 with a f3.5 28-200mm lens. Love my camera! I also use lightroom to process the photos. Moving to the country has been a big change, but we are adjusting slowly. Teaching is good though!
Sounds like you all had a wonderful time. With lovely photos as a keepsake.
