The local agricultural show is on again in two weeks time. Last year Country Boy entered a few photos, and some vegetables into the pavilion section (indoor competition). The kids all entered a few sections and had some wins and some losses.
This year plans are, once again, afoot. The show schedule has been studied and the various categories we are going to enter have been decided.
Hannah has decided to see if she can be the carry over champion in the vegetable sculpture section, whilst Meg is hoping to be champion ‘fairy garden in a saucer’ creator for the third year in a row. Toby is once again hoping that sticking a whole lot of random stuff on to some paper will win him glory.
Country Boy is entering this photo of Meg into the “child study’ category. I love it!
Country Boy and I are pitting our photography talents against each other, and are entering every category in the photography section. Hopefully we both win something, or else neither of us win. It could be a little awkward if one of us runs away with heaps of prizes whilst the other doesn’t.
The annual show is one of those events that marks our year here in the country. It is a chance to support our local community, pit our produce against other locals, and have some fun. We are already looking forward to it!
What do you think of CB and I going up against each other in the photography? A bit of fun, or marriage wrecker??
