Yesterday morning I realised that it was two years since I started blogging. I knew that it was coming up, but in the busyness of the week, the actual day passed me by. I put up my first ever post on facebook, then went off to work.
Life has changed considerably over the last two years, and to say I’m still in a steep learning curve is a serious understatement. When I first started blogging, it was to record my thoughts on our tree change. Two years on, and it appears as though we are here to stay, and I guess the blog reflects that. I’m enjoying taking photos, cooking our produce, and trying to explain our life with three kids in an old farm house in rural Australia.
I’m not sure where I will be taking the blog next… part of me thinks just keep on doing what I’m doing, and part of me thinks I would like to try making a bit more out of it; get more serious with my recipes and photos and see where it leads. Any way, those are all thoughts I will keep pondering.
Today though, I have my first ever give away to celebrate two years of blogging, and to thank everyone who stops by my little part of the internet to have a read. I’ve got out the credit card* (don’t tell Country Boy!), and am giving away two things I wish I had:
To enter all you need to do is leave a comment below telling me whether you would like to try your own country life experiment, or telling me what you would like to know about our country life experiment.
The competition will close Thursday August 1st, at 7pm. You will need to include an email address so that I can contact you. Winners will be drawn using random dot org, and notified by email. This competition is open to Australian residents only.
This give away has now closed. Congratulations to Anne M and Jobee
*I have paid for the prizes and postage myself, so this is not a sponsored promotion. I just want these for me!!
