My goodness it is dry around here at the moment. We are desperate for rain. Instead, we have had warm, dry days, and cool nights but no big frosts. The country is looking dry and when the sheep are being driven past our house on the way to the shearing shed, they kick up the dust, which then floats into the house, (meaning that the house needs to be dusted almost constantly).
Shearing finished yesterday. This morning, the truck came to take away the last of the wool bales. Country Boy and Toby went down to the shed to “help”. Well Country Boy helped, and Toby… didn’t. A big truck is always exciting though!
I’ve been watching Glee on DVD. I had forgotten how much I loved it… so I am slightly addicted to it. You know how you get so into a series that you just have to watch the next episode? Yep that’s me!
Our weekend looks like this: relaxing, cooking, gardening, popping into the village for an auction, church on Sunday afternoon, and did I mention relaxing?
Happy Friday everyone!
