“It’s cold and wet and windy. Dad mends fences, and we help Mum plant baby trees to make wind breaks”
So on Saturday, although it wasn’t June, it was definitely cold and wet and windy, and we went tree planting.
There are lots of poplars along the creek near our house. They keep sprouting, so we started by digging up a whole lot of them.
When I say we, I really mean Country Boy, supervised by Toby and myself, of course…
The rain really started to come in at this point, so I had to put away the camera, and concentrate on what we were meant to be doing.
Perhaps I should have named this blog “A year on our farm”.
