Over the weekend we were up in Mountains, catching up with family and friends. On Sunday afternoon we visited my sister and her family. My kids adore their cousins, and to tell the truth, I feel guilty having moved so far away from them because they have such a good time together. I also really miss my sister; she and I have very similar views on almost everything.
While we were there, my sister got out the mega blocks for Toby. There was a dump truck, digger, excavator and several other machines. My nephew is obsessed with machinery and he kept correcting us when we didn’t use the correct name for the machine – I now know what a grappler is!
My small boy is also developing an obsession with machinery. Living on the farm, he gets to indulge his passion daily, but here was new opportunity – not to be missed!
The rest of the cousins went off to play, but Toby stayed put with the excavators and trucks for the rest of the afternoon.
Perhaps I have found some inspiration for a Christmas present this year???
Lol. My God-son is similar with the names of machinery. At age 2, he can tell you how and why a bulldozer is different to a backhoe (or something). My son never got into the differentiations. They are all "diggers" at our place!
