Just a quick post today, because life is sooo hectic. Working full time, marking a major exam at night, trying to organise to move house in 3 weeks (!!!) etc.
Today, however, one of my sisters and her husband fly out to South East Asia, where they live. We have been fortunate to have them home for the last (almost) 2 years. During their visit we have spent sooo much time together. I went over to say good bye to them before work this morning. It was strange because in someways it was just another day; we were chatting about pinterest and other good things we have found, but when it came time to say goodbye, it wasn’t “see you on Friday” it was “see you next year” (if we are lucky!).

My siblings and I are good friends. We have lots of common interests and spend a lot of time together. My sister is a great support for me and my other sister with our young children. Being away from them is going to be hard.
We can’t put our lives on hold to remain near to each other. I know that she is needed where she is going, and that she wants to go. I know that our family needs to try living in the country and we can’t wait to go. It doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier though.
